How early do I need to book my wedding photographer?

I would say the best time to start looking around for your perfect wedding photographer is at least 18 months before the wedding and to have your booking secured 12 months before your wedding day. There are a number of things to consider which will determine photographer availability on your wedding day like the time of year you are getting married, are you getting married in the week, on a Saturday or on a Sunday? Most weddings tend to be held on Saturdays or over long weekends.
