We’re astonished at newborn babies. Mostly because these little angels, came from the very pregnant mommy we photographed only a while ago, and that is amazing. They are just perfect, and have the most unique way of pulling their little faces in distinctive ways. Unfortunately, they lose that newborn look, which is why we would encourage any new mommy and daddy, to have their shoot done with the new little one, as soon as possible, preferably within the first 10 days.

We know things are turned upside down when baby arrives, suddenly a new person who rules every single aspect of the household now, from sleeping- to eating times, has to be considered, and when they need something NOW, that is when they expect to get it. That is why, when doing a newborn shoot at Louise Diesel Photography, we allow for that time, when during the shoot, the baby needs feeding perhaps, or to be calmed by mom (or sometimes dad has such a good magic touch too).

With “F” shoot, she had most of her pregnancy recorded, by coming every few months for a shoot, to see how her tummy has grown since the last, and when their beautiful baby girl arrived, we saw it as such an honour to meet her, it felt like the studio was part of her existence from the beginning. We know we will see this family again when they come for family shots, and we’re always happy when we get to be part of a family’s dynamic, to record their life’s memories.
