We like the new trend taking place: young, teenage girls, want to have a photo shoot done with us, and when we ask them what they do with their photos afterwards, they tell us, that they exchange them among each other, and also do creative projects with them, like scrapbooking. We think it’s such a clever idea, and although 10-20 teenage girlies are quite a loud and vibrant situation here at our studios, we love their attitudes, and their very cute way of interacting with each other, and the camera.

“T” turned 13, and had a bunch of her girlfriends over here at Louise Diesel Photography’s studio for a shoot, to capture her birthday, as we know how special these times are, when new things, like high-school are looming. They had a ton of fun to say the least, and even though at that age, we know many girls are already very self-conscience, some have braces or are very aware of their bodies changing, it still gives us as photographers, the opportunity, to capture the best and the most beautiful sides to these girls.

With a group this big (and they still could get bigger), it is best to keep, what we call “flat lighting”, making sure that every girl has as far as possible, equal light on her face, and is sharp in relation to where she stand to the camera. I personally, enjoy these shoots tremendously, and with Riani’s help, we make a great team in producing such a great product for these girls to be proud of, and memories to keep forever.
