We are always telling you about our photography from our viewpoint, and I thought I’d share our unique photography experience from our satisfied client’s view…

I’d never thought of doing pregnancy photos until I came across Louise’s website. The thought of having a complete stranger take photos of my naked belly was just too daunting for me. The best photography tip I can ever give anyone is to keep experimenting.  Photography is a vast field and you will always be learning something.  Don’t shy away from the projects that make you nervous and your heart flutter, because the day you dont broaden your horizons, is the dya that your spirit will die.  I received this quote about time form someone and I think in essence this describes a little about photographers and the time they put into photographs.

“Why is your time important?  Time is your most preciuos asset.  You can make more money, get more education, get more jobs, but you can never make or get more time.

Why do you think our years on earth are measured as “life-time”?  Because as time is spent so is your very life.

When you give someone or something your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you’ll never get back.  Since your time is your life, don’t you think it’s the greatest gift you can give someone ?”

Shepstone Gardens is a beautiful wedding venue situated in the heart of Johannesburg.  When you drive past it in the street you can never imagine the true beauty which lies inside the stone walls.

This Johannesburg wedding venue also has it’s own unique story.  Ken’s father has a passion for gardening (which you will see once you go and have a look at these heavenly gardens)  So one day Ken proposed to his father why don’t they turn it into a wedding venue?  And voila!

When I went through to go and take a look before the wedding day I remember walking up the stairs and telling Ken how beautiful his venue is.  And he was saying but I haven’t even seen it yet.  I just had the feeling like I was walking into a movie.  You don’t get many places like Shepstone Gardens in South-Africa and that’s what makes this a unique wedding venue.

Sharon & Anton is living proof that you can really find your soul mate over the internet.  Yes, they met in a chatroom and decided to then meet face to face and here they are a few years down the line saying I DO

They are completely smitten…  You can almost feel the energy when you are in their company. WOW!  I love to just watch the way they communicate.  You know that song:” You say it best.., when you say nothing at all…”  It makes me think of them.

Louise and I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Ivan & Lucille’s wedding at Avianto in September.  They are so in love and this is exactly what comes forth in these wedding photographs.

I think the correct term for this photo would be ABSOLUTE BLISS…  Let me introduce you to our bride Lucille, she is one of those rare bubbly personalities who lights up the whole room just by being there.  You could even find her helping her mom putting her fabolous shoes on.

I can’t recall seeing her unhappy even once, I do remember how nervous she was as the golf cart edged closer to the church though.  And then the cutest thing happened!  Her mom and sisters started to do this funny breathing exercise with her which just really helped to smooth out some of the tension with a few good laughs.  It was just so special!

Ivan the groom is just one of those special guys who adores his bride!  You can see the way he constantly steals a glance at her, even when she is across the room.  It’s the kind of love you come across in fairytales.

You guys share the kind of love that every soul on this earth is looking for, and reminds couples who have been married for decades about their own special bond.  I loved the way you guys enjoyed every minute of this special day together.  It was a whole big family affair with kids running around in the bridal suite and discussing shoes…

To be honest, it felt like home   The whole day was a wonderful day of two souls coming together.  Celebrating your special wedding day at a venue like Avianto in Muldersdrift ensures that your day will go smoothly and that you will have gorgeous wedding photos.

I think the focus has been shifted to having the best rather than the true meaning of the day which is 2 people pledging their love to each other and makinf the life-changing promise to be forever faithful.
