We enjoy kids, for the most past because they are so brutally honest, they give you exactly what they feel at that moment, and if they aren’t keen on smiling, it would show.  This family’s Mom, has also visited us before, with her youngest child, as she had taken photos with each of her children at about 3-4 years of age, and wanting to create that special memory with him as well. This time she brought all three great kids for a shoot, and what a fantastic bunch.

These are the types of kids that make our job such a joy, because they smiled when I asked them, and pulled faces, and pulled dad’s ear, and enjoyed themselves. They are certainly very happy, healthy kids, and I loved their energy in the studio, With three kids, it seems to buzz in there, as it is full of the magic kids seems to carry with them as they run around chaotically, but it’s what we live for, and what we d would be very boring if we didn’t have these little ones to brighten up our days.

We guarantee our clients that even if your kids are a bit inhibited we would about stand on our heads to make them smile, and we do our best to entertain them, and clown around to get those lovely giggles.

Kiddies and their photoshoots

Any parent of a new baby would be able to tell you that they would just not be able to get enough photos of their brand new little person. Many fascinated mommies have admitted to just sitting and staring at new baby, and we understand the gesture completely, because they are so beautiful.

Our Maternity/Newborn combination package is such a viable package for new parents, because it gives you the chance for a shoot still with your pregnant tummy – a special time before this little important person presents themselves to the world, and a second shoot with your gorgeous newborn baby, as the new addition to your family has to have some images of their perfect selves, and we get to shoot proud mommies and daddies as well.

In our shoots we always try and accommodate all clients as much as we can, we try and give them a big variety of photos, with different styling and poses, and see to it that what they wanted out of their shoot, they got, and we know that little babies can be quite unpredictable, so we patiently try to sooth them, and give mom they necessary time for a feeding in the shoot – it makes baby just calmer. Newborn baby photoshoot

We are a very accommodative and flexible studio, and would always try and see how we can meet our clients halfway. When we have a newborn in the studio that is quite unsettled, and just no photos is to be get out of him/her, we try and help the family by bringing mom back for a short second shoot. It isn’t the norm, and most small babies just need their mommy- or daddy’s comforting voice or touch to sooth them, but they are still small, and we understand that. And as their parents, you obviously want beautiful images with your little one, as they are so very small, and you feel so proud that they are so dependent on you still.

This particular mom has had a few shoots with our studio already, and we have gotten to know them before they had their boy. The first time baby was just not feeling it, but this time, we did manage to get the most beautiful photos of mom and babes.

Our clients truly become like our own families, we treat them as such as well, and we always feel very privileged when they want to come for more shoots. We hope to make so many more friends in our new studio, and urge everyone to come for their own special shoot.

Newborn baby photoshoot

When Louise-Anne finally called to say the twins had now been born, we were so excited. Especially Riani loves to do newborn photos, and we had such a gorgeous Maternity shoot with Louise-Anne and Cassidy that we just knew, photographing the twins would only produce amazing images.

They were completely chilled and relaxed, and slept through the whole shoot. Mom had such a great hand on them, one even wondered how she seemed so in control of two babies, and that that should actually be the norm. Daddy is such a tall, big guy, that we enjoyed posing them with him just to show their small size in comparison.

A very good time to bring newborns for their own shoot is at roundabout 10-12 days, so closely two weeks old. A bit smaller and they tend to not be so secure away from the mother, and when they are a bit older they are a bit more aware of their surroundings, and tend to also squirm like little eels when you hold them. Nevertheless, our studio welcomes babies, and their proud parents, and would want you to bring baby when they are ready, and when your household is a bit more settled. Twin babies newborn photos

ll birthdays are special occasions to be celebrated and especially when you have smaller children, you get the see the magic of it all through their eyes. This family has had a shoot with us before, and now the twins turned 3. Their mom made the theme of the party all in relation to the sport golfing and it made for such great decorations.

I enjoyed the energy of these little kids so much, and realized that kids are only small for a short while, before they grow up and see the different sides of the world more, so when still young, we have reasons to still give them these amazing parties.

With any event, a lot of planning went into the idea or concept, and we always make sure to photograph those little things that form part of the atmosphere, and the things that you would want to remember. An event isn’t an event without great photographs to remember it by, so rather go the professional route where you know you’ll receive a good-quality product.

Many of our clients who are expecting their second baby, say that they regret not having had done a shoot with mom still pregnant. Pregnancy photos

One day Johnny Bravo walked into our studio without us noticing anything out of the ordinary…  Ok ok, his real name is Daniel but I promise you he has the moves and charisma of Johnny Bravo

He is just so smooth and knows exactly what to do to put the attention squarely on him.  When a family arrives for their fun photoshoot and are getting settled we know that it’s really important to engage with the kids and get them talking (in other words getting them confortable in this new environment)  So I asked this little man how old he is?  He looked at me, lifted up one eyebrow, smiled and said 5… Where after mom corrected him and then he was like:”ok… 3″  How cute is that?!

Throughout this while photoshoot he kept on being his charming self, doing his eyebrow moves and in general just charming the socks off everyone.  He was even full of love for his baby sister who is but a few months old, smiling, holding and kissing her.

I just truly love these comical expressions and truthful sayings with which our toddlers come up with in the studiom it has really given us lots to smile about…
