Canvas prints have always been popular, and we offer a wide variety of sizes and formats to suit anyone’s home, whether bug or small. We also suggest different combinations to capture different elements of your shoot, something that will have a combined feel when put together. Most of our packages include a 30×30 canvas, which is very successful, and most people always add more to that, getting a whole set of memories to hang. Our studio’s signature product is what we call the LDP NIOX, which is an A1 print, with either 9 or 12 of your photos, beautifully framed in a dark wood frame, getting many elements of your shoot together in one stunning product.

We also find our photo books to very popular, as it reminds of a child’s storybook and pages easily with page after page of photos of your shoot, in a gorgeous design. The hardcover makes it durable has a printable cover, so it is personalized with a photo of your shoot that captured the whole feeling in that shot. Yesterday we had the privilege of photographing South-African President Kgalema Motlanthe at the Johannesburg Stock Exhchange in Sandton and what an experience it was….

The JSE hired us to photograph this event and supply them with formal photographs for the company and for their press release.

In press photography and journalism it’s known as the hurry-up-and-wait game.  We were informed an hour before the president’s estimated time of arrival.  Luckily I was already in Randburg collecting canvas prints from a previous photoshoot.  I had to rush to the JSE and even though it was the middle of the day the traffic was hectic.

On my arrival at the JSE I was greeted by Trevor James, marketing manager, of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, and told that they’re expecting President Motlanthe at 2 o’ clock, so I took a stand right next to the president’s official photographer and videographer and then we waited for the president’s arrival.  President Motlanthe got stuck at a previous appointment and only arrived an hour and a half later at the JSE.

The CEO of the JSE then escorted President Motlanthe into the JSE and described how the Shareboard worked.  They then posed for a few formal photos and then the president did a walkthrough of the JSE’s “Learn to Earn” initiative and spoke to a few of the JSE’s listed companies representatives before making their way to another meeting.

I enjoyed the event and got some great photographs and we are quite excited to be working with the JSE!

” Cheers boys cheer! The holidays are here! ” Ryan sings that at the start of every holiday and has done so since we first met 18 years ago. His gran used to phone him and his brothers at the start of every holiday and sing to them and so she started a kind of tradition that has been passed onto Ryan and his brothers and now my children… It brings back special memories for us and hopefully will do the same for our children one day!
