Well I know this post has nothing to do with photography but I just thought I would share some life-saving information. I am on my way to renew my South African Dirver’s License and you know how much fun that can be…..

I absolutely dread going to the licensing department or the department of home affairs for that matter!! I just hate to queue up and find it such a waste of my precious time!!

So while I was moaning to a friend the other day about having to do this as my license has expired, she told me that I didn’t have to go to the licensing department to renew my license at all!!! What wonderful news….

Apparently, Stanley and DeKock the optometrists in alberton do it all for you. You have your photos taken there, your eyes tesetd there, everything!!! And the best is that you collect your new license from them just 6 wees later!! No waiting around or wasting time!!! What a pleasure….

Just thought I would share that very valuable information for those of you who hate the licensing and home affairs departments as much as I do!!!
