I never get bored with shooting maternity photos.  The thing that made Dineo’s shoot really different is that I only photographed mom which I quite enjoyed. 

I always tend to do a lot more photos with mom (sorry guys but if you were pregnant and could prove it… I would do a lot more pics of you    ).  Dineo is having a little boy and has decided to name him Neo.  She just loves high heels so this was my first maternity shoot where I took a few pics of mom to be wearing high heels, very interesting. 

We played around a lot with lighting, different outfits (some that Dineo herself brought with) and props and with Dineo being very relaxed with whatever I was doing, made for awesome shots as you can see….

Dont be afraid to be adventurous in your shoot, bring a few of your own outfits and suggest different ideas to your photographer.  In photography I was taught to always try new stuff, and never do it halfway.  So if you photograph a landscape for instance, the horizon line should be straight or totally skew. Never in between.  Pushing the boundaries helps us to discover our true identity….
