In what is now known as the South African wedding of the year in all papers – Duduzile Zuma and businessman Lonwabo Sambudla got married in East London, Eastern Cape on Saturday 26 April, in a lavish white wedding at Inkwekwezi game lodge, and on Sunday 27 April in their traditional attire, as they performed all rituals for the ceremony.

We had been issued to be the exclusive photographers at the wedding, and we enjoyed the experience tremendously. All celeb weddings, or any type of photoshoots with high-profile people, are treated as any other shoot- as professionally as possible and to the best of our capabilities. This wedding was truly special as we got to see the president in what was an emotional day – and we realized even though he is the first man of our country, on that day he was just a father to his child getting married and he wanted to walk down the aisle slow, as to not give her away too quickly.

Dudu looked very glamorous and Lonwabo his handsome self. Seeing them interact was amazing, as they have such great chemistry, and one can tell he has a great deal of respect to her.

Her white wedding was held in Parisian-style theme, from the cake to the décor, and a few hundred guests joined in on their celebration. Dudu danced with her proud father who couldn’t stop smiling, and we experienced moments which we’ll surely never forget.
