What is the first thing that comes to mind when I say Miss SA teen?  A young vibrant girl with a outgoing smile and friendly face.  Being Miss SA teen is described as “Miss SA Teen inspires the youth of South Africa to dream big, she is a positive role model who cares deeply about her country and is a passionate and driven young woman.”  So there you have it. 

How do you portray all of this in a two photos?  (A close-up head and shoulders and a full length photo)  You need to find a Miss Teen SA photographer in Johannesburg who has an idea of what your photos need to look like.  The entrants need to look like a typical teenager but a little dressed up.  Make-up wise I would recommend to go for a light foundation and natural looking lipstick (almost a gloss of sorts) this will give you that fresh faced look.

Entering the Miss Teen SA competition is all about self-confidence and leadership.  You need to be the face and role model for all teenagers in South-Africa.   Show them just what can be done and how to do it.  As you can see having a good photographer take your photos is of the utmost importance.  You have to feel comfortable in their presence which will ensure that you are relaxed and laughing all the way through.  Closing date for submissions is 5 August so dont delay…
