A modeling shoot is literally for anyone, it’s the wrong perception to think only people who are professionally trained to do modeling shoots or have been doing for years would be able to do it. We have had so many people who try for their first shoot, and then it is only to get good portfolio shots done of themselves.

This girl is still quite young, and this was her first modeling shoot. I struck it very, very lucky with her; because she certainly has the good to make it far is she was to pursue a career in modeling.  She seemed to understand the light and how it falls on the lines of the body, so well, and her and I just worked so well together. We got such amazing images in the end, and even though I love this style of photography, and was quite proud of the result. I felt it a great honor when she and her mother mailed to let me know they are so satisfied with the result, and thanked me so much.

This job is like any other, it has it’s up and downs, but it certainly has the best perks when we get to work with such lovely people. It’s very fulfilling to live out our passion in these images.
