We went to Sun City 2 weeks ago for a family holiday and had the most amazing time!!! We were there for a week and we had such fun…. We went swimming at The Valley of The Waves (even though the water was freezing!!! But children don’t feel the cold…. so parents aren’t allowed to either) We went on the supertubes which Mikey just loves, the lazy river which Jamie loves and the baby pool which Demi loves….. Demi had a ball in the swimming pool and had absolutely no fear!!!

We also went to the movies, the farm yard, the bumper boats, the putt putt, the electric cars….. there is so much to do there!!! We also went to the Pilanesberg for a few game drives which the boys loved!!! It is the first year that they have really understood what a game reserve is and they loved spotting animals – Mikey swore that he saw a baby cheetah…..LOL But we were actually really lucky in the park and saw lots of animals – we even saw 3 lions in the road (the boys were so excited!!!) It made the early morning all worth it!!!

Ben and the girls came to visit for the weekend and the boys had an amazing time with their cousins…. they loved riding their bicycles in the road and even though they had a few bad falls, they carried on riding as they weren’t going to be outdone by girls…. Jamie kept showing Brittney that he was a real rider now that he had cuts and bruises all over!

It was the MTN South African Music Awards (SAMA) the weekend we were there so it was really busy and the girls loved seeing all the celebrities, especially Brittney (even though she didn’t know who half of them were…)

It was really special to spend time with Ben and the girls…. it’s lovely to see how close the cousins are and how much fun they have together!!! We made some special memories on holiday and have some beautiful family photos too!!!
