10th Jan – Magic Kingdom
Oh how I love Disney World!!! We went back to Magic Kingdom yesterday and had another fantastic day!
Ryan & I went on the big Thunder Mountain Railroad roller coaster and Space Mountain – which was a little disappointing after years of waiting for this amazing ride! Also, nothing can really compare to The Incredible Hulk roller coaster at Universal’s Islands of Adventure….
Then we went on Buzz Lightyear again – the boys went on 4 times!!! They love it so much (though Jamie ended up in tears as his score was consistently low and he hates to lose!! The boys are going through an unbelievable competitive streak and I fear it will only end…. probably never!)
We also went on The Steam Train around the whole of Disney which was really cool, flew around on Aladdin’s Magic Carpet ride and went on a sea voyage with the Pirates of The Caribbean.
This was really cool (apparently the movie was based on the ride) After that, we were lucky enough to meet Captain Jack Sparrow and we even became part of his honorary crew!!
He even taught us how to fight and flee, hit them once, hit them twice (with the sword of course), poke them in the belly then point and say: “Look there’s the governor’s daughter!” and when he turns around to look, you flee!! Of course, the boys loved this too!
We also went on Tomorrowland’s Indy Speedway – this is a fantastic ride where you drive cars around
a track – an adult handles the accelerator and brakes and the little ones steer…. thank goodness the car can’t go off the track too far as a metal rail stops you from going too far – or we would have had a big problem! I drove with Mikey and we were bumping back and forth from the extreme left to the extreme right and back again! I dread the day we have to start teaching him to drive….
We watched the parade at 3pm which the boys loved – they just love to see all the Disney characters from their favourite movies like Lilo & Stitch, Chip and Dale, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs, Peter Pan and Wendy, Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother and on and on and on….
Mikey and Jamie have also decided that they are the new professional photographers of the family and love
taking pics with the Sony Cyber shot – Mikey is actually really good and insists on taking a pic over and over again until he has a good composition – I am quite impressed. He even impressed the professional Disney Photographer at the parade yesterday…. They now want to know how to work the Canon 40D camera but I am not sure I will let them use that camera just yet….
Last night, Ryan and I went for dinner at a lovely place just outside the resort called ‘Houlihans’ – there was a wonderful man from St Lucia singing and of course Ryan and I ended up dancing (even though there was no dance floor or no-one else dancing – ha ha)
I had grilled chicken and veges and it was the first meal we have eaten here (besides our own home cooked food) that is not smothered in fat and oil! It was really good – and so nice to have vegetables for a change… I really don’t understand how The Americans eat all this junk food!!!
We had a lovely evening and it was good to spend some time alone with each other…. that all changed at 3am when Demi decided to wake up and not go back to sleep.
At first, I thought she had ear ache but after some strong pain medicine and a bottle and a nappy change and an hour later, she was just ready to play games! She is so cute but it gets a bit much at 4 in the morning!!! So we ended up taking her for a drive in the car at 4am in the morning (it was freezing!) just to get her to sleep. It took 20 minutes! and reminded me of when Jamie was a baby – we did the same thing with him sometimes…
Anyway, we got to sleep really late this morning – 8am! Yaay! Today we are going back to Epcot,
we are just going to chill in some foreign country!!! Sounds good to me….
So we ended up going shopping today instead of Epcot – we went to Prime Outlet (which is the old Belz Factory outlet – thought of you dad and all the shopping we did there years ago!!)
It is huge and the boys got quite bored as there are no toy stores or psp game stores there….. We bought a few gifts in the Disney store and then went to Florida mall to get the boys a psp game (we have been promising them that they could get something for over a week now, so they were very happy – they got the Spiderman 3 game!)

WOW!!!
Thank you for the amazing photos you took at Mika’s 1st Birthday. Without exception, everyone commented on the quality and finish of all the photos.
We couldn't be happier! We are even more grateful for the manner in which you did the job. You have also been complimented by our guests on this, some of whom were very hard to impress.
Your work is truly magnificent and you are worth every single penny....I honestly cant put into words how happy we were with the end result.......what more can I say, brilliant. You’re a star!
