We love the studio and its controlled lighting, but every now and again, we get to go on a wonderful location shoot, and this one – was extra special. This husband sent a lovely email to us, saying how we must please ask his wife to make sure their horses, and dogs were groomed for a stunning couple shoot on their farm.

W enjoyed our shoot with this couple so much, as their bond, their love for their animals, and that which they share amongst the two of them, were so evident, and we got some stunning shots.

With environmental shoots, especially at the time of day we shot, it’s very important to have good quality equipment, which would be able to handle the low-lighting and quite shady, dark areas with ease. There is nothing worse that knowing you have just got the right shot, and looking back at it later, and seeing it’s blurred. Our Canon 5D mkii, is wonderful with handling light, and has impeccable colouring, which also makes it a dream to shoot at a wedding.

This shoot will always be close to our hearts, and their welcoming nature was appreciated.
