Reaching your goal could be harder than you expected, but maybe even closer than you think if you’re willing to change your set of mind. When Louise & Ryan Diesel set off to climb Kilimanjaro, they weren’t maybe prepared for exactly how hard it was really going to be. When she tells us her interesting stories about their trek up, she’ll tell us – in actual fact, it was hell, but she’ll sure do it a hundred times over, because of the experience, the wonderful feeling of standing on top with her husband of many years, knowing that you did it in spite of everything, even though it was extremely challenging. The Diesel’s believe fully in challenge shaping us a people, and they help us see any difficulty that faces us as her photographers, that way – that it can be overcome, there are smart solutions to almost all problems if you just try, and she knows that we’ll be better women for it.

Life itself is like that mountain; it’s quite a struggle to climb at times. But it has so many rewards, and we might as well lay our bodies to rest if we ever were to stop growing and stop learning. The studio was a dream Louise had, and to see it grow, and climb from strength to strength is a great reward for all of us.
