We get to work with amazing big companies when they plan their important annual Year-End function. A function is usually held to celebrate something, or to close off a year of progress and production, and its one chance people get to dress up a bit and enjoy the evening outside of the everyday working-environment.

Functions are usually held in the evening, when it’s appropriate for everyone to dress up in evening-wear, and the evening usually has a theme to it, or the décor is made to fit it all, or just a bit more smart and formal. It’s many a times an award ceremony as well, to congratulate those who had outstanding achievements in their fields. All of those, from the small details on the tables, which adds to the atmosphere of the event, to the awards being handed out, to everyone having a great time afterwards dancing and socializing, are captured by us, as we are constantly aware of the events as the evening progresses, and we make sure to give you a product that sums your special function, in good-quality images.

Year-end photography

Certain different cultural- or religious groups have different ceremonies, functions or practices that are important to them, and a special event in a person of Catholic faith’s life, is when they get to have their first Holy Communion at their church. Kids grow so fast, and this is one of those moments, where you as a parent suddenly realize how quickly they are growing older, when they already get to be part of their first Communion, and understand the meaning behind it a bit more.

Most special events, require good photographs, and there would be no-one more equipped that a professional studio, to capture those kinds of photos, so that the day can be remembered with fondness. With such events like these, it’s held n a church, many of which don’t have a big amount of natural light that flows in, therefore we use good external flashes with our cameras to have everyone be carefully lit and well exposed.

We always try and get all the details and make sure we capture the event from start to finish. We try and accommodate our clients as far as we can, and go the extra mile even if not always expected of us, we believe in not just good service but great service and believe that our clients can trust us with their memories, it is after all what we live and breathe.

Professionally photographed first Holy-Communion celebration 

Even though the time for Matric Dance events are over for this year, we certainly are proud on the amount of Matric Dance studio shoots we got to photograph; we had the opportunity to see some beautifully dressed-up young people, all very excited for the evening ahead.

A matric dance is such a special event, it is the occasion which symbolizes a transformation from the small lanky kids we all were, into the adults we’re all starting to become, and the career- and life choices we are going to make for ourselves. For that one evening though, you can let go of the school uniform you have come to know for many years now that is meant to unify the school’s pupils, and you can bring your own unique style into the event, dressing up to you have always wanting it be like, and look how you want to be seen.

We have had such a great year, with so many different people we got to meet, and so many different unique shoots we got to do, with literal thousands of photos took. Each year bring its new challenges, and new matrics, going to hold their own function at the end of the year to come. We look forward to shooting a whole new bunch of Matric Dances, and a young people all dressed t the night.

ll birthdays are special occasions to be celebrated and especially when you have smaller children, you get the see the magic of it all through their eyes. This family has had a shoot with us before, and now the twins turned 3. Their mom made the theme of the party all in relation to the sport golfing and it made for such great decorations.

I enjoyed the energy of these little kids so much, and realized that kids are only small for a short while, before they grow up and see the different sides of the world more, so when still young, we have reasons to still give them these amazing parties.

With any event, a lot of planning went into the idea or concept, and we always make sure to photograph those little things that form part of the atmosphere, and the things that you would want to remember. An event isn’t an event without great photographs to remember it by, so rather go the professional route where you know you’ll receive a good-quality product.
