Little baby Kyle has been sent to Jeane and Willem straight from heaven.  He is about 3 months old and has deep blue eyes and the cutest smile that just

melts your heart…  and he is such a little charmer J  He absolutely adores his mother, everytime she tells him just how much she loves him he smiles like a person who has just won the

lottery.  Taking photos of babies is very rewarding.  I always say they are really easy to photograph because they are already cute (you are just capturing this…)  I have always loved any and every little baby and that is why being a baby photographer is the perfect job for me.  I really can’t explain why I like them so much, maybe it is because of their beautiful

smiles or maybe it is just a girl thing… Anyway, who cares I love them and they love me and together you and I will capture beautiful memories which you can treasure forever!

Photographing babies can be compared to walking into a tornado like a stormwatcher.  You need look at all the signs for instance has baby just woken up from a nap, are they hungry or are they extremely friendly right now?  And then you need to do your shoot according to how they feel.

When they are extremely happy you need to use this opportunity to get as many beautiful smiley photos as you can. Always remember to smile back at the baby who is being photographed.

Sing to them, play hide and seek behind the camera and in general just praise them for everything they do right.  If you ensure the whole photoshoot is a game they will love to be photographed and will defininitely want to come back

“J” & “M” is now all of three months old.  Considering that they were prem babies they are now big and strong.  My heart was stolen by them the first time I laid eyes on them.  At first looking at these gorgeous twin babies you would think they must be identical, but as you get to konw them you soon realize that the differences between this little boy and little girl are

very big.  Take for instance “J” is normally very niggly and cries a little and “M” is usually really quiet and content with the world.  But on the day of the photoshoot they decided to take a shot at each other’s roles.  Photographing twins is one of the challenges that are very close to my heart.  My brother also has identical twin boys and I love photographing them.

Because they are very alike as well as very different and the trick lies in capturing these little nuances.

Looking at this beautiful smile just lights up my heart   O is almost 6 months old and can already sit all by herself, amazing isn’t it?  She and her mom have been visiting South-Africa
