Today I decided to share a few of my beautiful newborn baby photos of precious little Michael   Michael’s mom and Kerry (who works with me) are sisters.  So naturally Kerry got her sister the gift of a lifetime – a maternity and newborn photoshoot.  Let me tell you it feels like yesterday that Kerry walked into my office with a big grin on her face announcing that her sister is pregnant!  Now little Mikey is almost 4 weeks old, how time flies…  The precious miracle of life never ceases to amaze me, I love photographing mom when she’s pregnant and then again when she holds her little bundle of joy in her arms.  I believe that everytime you photograph someone – be it a newborn or a whole family you put a part of your soul into your images.  That is what makes is such a wonderful job Yes, it sounds very personal but that is the way I am about my photos.  When I do your baby photos in studio I make sure that you are all comfortable and at ease.  Trust me, I completely understand how intimidating it is to be in front of a camera lens so I make sure that you enjoy your shoot and forget all abou the camera… I strive to create photos that I would want of my own kids

Having done Liesje’s maternity shoot I was very excited to meet baby Micheal for the first time and I was immediately taken by his little face, he looks almost exactly like his dad.  It’s amazing to see how much they grow and change in their first few months.  Give him a month or two and he’ll most certainly start looking a little more like his beautiful mom (and he just radiates cuteness)

I’ve heard a lot of people say that if you can photograph food you can photograph you caan photograph anything, but I beg to differ.  When doing newborn baby photography you need to have a lot of patience and an understanding of their needs.  Which is basically eating, having a clean diaper and being warm.  That is just ine of the many reasons we turn up the underfloor heating in our studio to make sure your newborn baby (or any baby for that matter) is comfortable.

Babies are God’s opinion that the world must go on…
