Being in the profession we are we have had the opportunity to see a lot of wedding venues in muldersdrift and just about
everywhere else.  Let me tell you that Toadbury Hall ranks in the top ten wedding venues in Johannesburg.  They have beautiful
scenery (including big old trees, rose gardens, a lovely Jetty over the water and wide open spaces)  Combine all of this and add
the breathtaking chapel and delicious food and you have a great wedding venue!

I had the privilege of meeting C & D earlier this year and was amazed at the special connection which they share.  On their
wedding day they couldn’t have asked for better weather conditions.  A wonderful summer’s day in sunny South-Africa.  This special
wedding was a small intimate gathering shared with family and close friends.  It gives me the goosies just to think about it…

Everything went perfectly smooth and they had a wonderful celebration.  I always say that the only thing that  matters is that
you get married on the day and this is exactly what they did

I read somewhere that the choice to have a baby is momentous… It is to have your heart walk outside of your body for the rest of your life!    Being pregnant for 9 months feels like an eternity (especially the last month or so)  But then once your little angel is born time flies so fast you

would think someone has hit the fast forward button.  I spoke to a friend the other day and looking at the photos she couldn’t believe that their little boy has grown so big in such a short time.  With newborn photography we use lots of love and the utmost of care to preserve these precious memories of the first few weeks of their lives.  Youe newborn baby will never again be so tiny and dependent on you.  Take the time and invest in capturing these precious moments forever!

I have the pleasure of photographing C & D’s wedding at Toadbury Hall today.  I can’t believe how time has flown…  We met up early in this year to discuss all the wedding details and we had a meeting in November at the venue to have a look at the venue and the way the light falls in the venue during the time of their wedding and finally the big day has come.  I have always loved Toaddbury Hall and would love to actually have a place like this to call home   I’m off and will post some amazing wedding photos tomorrow!

I for one can not wait for the holidays to begin.  I think each and every person has been pushed to their limits by our global recession.  Well the good news is that you have now learn’t to value the things which matter the most in your life.  Every family now saves more energy (which in turn will help save the planet) I also think families have moved closer together because everyone needed the support to get through this hard year.  Well, keep your chin up and see that the sun is shining on you.  Sometimes you need to think that maybe you can’t get something right now (with your present situation) so what are you going to do to get yourself into a better position so that you can achieve your goals?  This kind of thinking will keep your boat afloat
