I only recently started blogging (By that I mean 6 months ago).  In the beginning I really had to break my head on what to write about and I also found it extremely hard to write motre than one blog a day.  Then after a while I found that the important thing is to write about things you care about.  Anything which will motivate you to get up off the couch and do it.  Like my photography.  Blogging is a wonderful way to express your self and you will soon find that friends, family and clients start following your blogs.  The secret is to make the blog personal but at the same time universal so that anyone can associate and learn from it.  Even if you don’t use your blog for marketing purposes, it’s a very unique way to express yourself and I am truly starting to love it!

Deana is such a gorgeous little angel, who just like little Jayton (whom I photographed on Friday) thinks she is at least one year old.  She is extremely curious and kept looking around wanting to figure out what everything was.  She also brought her best friend along,  you might know him, he is yellow and loves Honey…  You guessed it, Winnie The Pooh.  Every  time we showed her Winnie her whole face just lighted up with pure pleasure   In studio we tried to figure out which side of the family Deana looks like the most but we couldn’t figure it out.  But looking at these photos I think she looks a little bit more like her dad. I always love to watch the way little babies can turn their father’s heart’s to jelly.  I’m sure if Deana could talk and ask her father for something, he would buy it for her in a heartbeat She is such a friendly little girl and she was a pleasure to photograph!  Can’t wait to see you guys next time when Deana will probably be crawling the whole studio over!!

I love babies!    That is a fact that no one can deny (and as a bonus they like me too) I have always adored babies, since I was big enough not to be one myself anymore.  When all my cousins went off playing I would sit with the mother and baby and just stare at them.  I think being a woman makes me more in touch with what bond a mother and her newborn baby share. I had the pleasure of taking Belinda’s pregnancy photos a little over 2 weeks ago and now I had the chance of meeting the whole wonderful family along with baby Chaise who is a week and a half old.  The only way to interpret my newborn photos is a quote by AnnieLeibovitz:” A thing that you see in my photography is that I wasn’t afraid to fall with these people”  I believe in forming a bond with all of my subjects and I often find myself chatting with moms and dads and sharing experiences   I enjoy making each and every shoot personal. Baby Chaise was the perfect little model, he is very tiny and weighs in at 3.2 kilograms. Keane is two years old and absolutely adores baby Chaise even though being in the spotlight with his baby brother was a little too much for him at times.   Wait till he can start to play with his new brother

I went to Parys yesterday to take photos for the rock K2’s first cd cover.  I would’ve loved to share a few with you but they’re all confidential till the band releases their CD cover.  We had awesome fun yesterday!!  We did everything from having a big bridge closed down for us to photograph on it with an old DKW bus.  To lying in the road and photographing the bandmembers of K2 sitting on the back of an old Ford pickup truck, taking photos in a quarry where they Abseill and dive to even clinbing into an old erosion hole in one of the wall’s of the quarry to take some shots.  Guys I had a blast!
