We love children!!! They are spontaneous, they are cute, they are unique and most of all they are fun! That’s why we love doing professional children’s portraits. When we photograph children in studio or on location, we get to play and be children ourselves to some degree. We find ways to make the children laugh, we sing and joke around, and we dance and tickle – whatever it takes to make the children’s photo shoot fun.

Because when they are comfortable in studio and having fun, we get to capture their real personalities and the way they interact with their families. We don’t want formal poses with fake smiles – we want to capture their real smiles, their giggles, their funny faces, whatever it is that makes them who they are. Because when you look back at your professional family portraits or professional children’s portraits, you want to be able to relive those moments and remember just how cute and special your kiddies were at that age. And most of all, we want you to recall the family photo shoot with fondness so that you look forward to coming back in years to come.

It is so rewarding to have children return with their families as they get older for new professional portraits. We get to see them grow and we watch the dynamics of the families change and we get to play a small role in their lives. It’s one of the things that we love about our work.

And the best is when children arrive excited for the shoot because they had so much fun the last time we photographed them. We get to have fun all over again!!!

Time goes by so quickly and before you know it, your newborn is a toddler….. then your toddler is a child….. and then your child is a teenager! So make sure you capture your kiddies pictures before it’s too late! Ideally we recommend you have professional photographs done at each stage of development: wedding portraits, maternity portraits, newborn portraits, children’s portraits and family portraits. Before long, we will be photographing your children’s matric dance and 21st birthday parties and then eventually their own weddings!!!

The cycle of life is truly precious!!!
