There is something so incredibly special about newborn babies….. perhaps it’s their innocence, maybe it’s their tiny size or their huge presence or maybe it’s just the miracle of life that they represent…… whatever it is, we always find it an absolute pleasure and privilege to do newborn photography. As I always say, we get to fall in love with the people we photograph and love to meet the little babies that we once connected with in mom’s tummy. And it gets more and more special, as we get to photograph these babies as they change and grow and develop their little personalities….. It’s one of the things that make our work so rewarding!

We recommend that you have your professional newborn portraits done as soon as you can. They are so tiny and fragile when they are first born and they start losing their newborn look very soon after birth. You want to capture these treasured moments because they will never, ever be that tiny and fragile again!! That is why we also offer the option of travelling to you and photographing your newborn baby in the comfort of your own home.

For professional studio photography, we ensure that our studio is heated to make the setting as comfortable as possible for your precious baby. Our photographers plan for both the expected and the unexpected and go with the flow.

We specialize in natural, tender portraits of your newborn baby in both colour and black and white. Our philosophy is to capture the unique bond between your baby and your family so that you leave with meaningful baby portraits. Fine art newborn portraits also involve simple images of their hands or feet – beautiful, simple expressions……. We love to photograph mothers and fathers with their precious newborn and welcome brothers and sisters and grandparents too. Capturing three or four generations in a professional family portrait is rare and often becomes a family heirloom that is treasured for generations to come.

Our baby infant photography is intimate and fun. They are more than just newborn photographs – they are incredible portraits of a special moment in time, the only time when your baby will ever be this tiny, this vast, this unknown (and yes… this exhausting!)
